Identify your cloth
Look for the product name, treatment details and care label. A double-layer design does not by itself tell you which parts can be washed.
Use the correct instruction
Do not infer washability from the word microfiber, the cloth colour or a similar-looking product. Contact the supplier if the label is missing.
Keep applications separate
A cloth used with a jewelry polish should not then be used on glasses or screens. Keep its packaging and intended-use label.
Add care to your order brief
For branded packs, request written washing and replacement guidance with the sample. Confirm that the wording matches the exact supplied cloth.
Turn the guidance into a clear brief.
Record your surface, desired result and sample approval requirements before comparing cloths.
