1. Check the surface

Identify sterling silver, silver plate, intentionally oxidized details, coatings and stones. Valuable or antique pieces deserve advice from a qualified jeweler or conservator before polishing.

2. Follow the treated-cloth instructions

QULA’s silver polishing line contains added polishing treatment. Follow the written instructions supplied for that cloth, including the intended surface, technique and any restrictions. Do not substitute the care routine of an ordinary microfiber cleaning cloth.

3. Work gently and inspect

Use the approved technique on an inconspicuous area first. Stop if the surface changes unexpectedly. Do not assume that a cloth approved for silver is suitable for every part of a mixed-material item.

4. Store separately

Keep the cloth in its own protective packaging. Do not let a treated silver cloth become mixed with lens or screen cloths. Add clear care wording to a branded retail pack.

Turn the guidance into a clear brief.

Record your surface, desired result and sample approval requirements before comparing cloths.
